BakkesMod is a third-party mod for Rocket League. It was originally built as an enhancement for freeplay, but over the years, many more features have been added, such as item mods, custom training tools, and a dolly camera for editors.

The last one will be necessary for us, however, we will discuss it in later chapters. The mod is essential for any editor, and overall it's incredibly useful.

BakkesMod also provides a software development kit/API which interfaces with Rocket League and allows users to create their plugins. Some plugins that we find useful created with this SDK include:

Installation

First, make sure your Rocket League is closed. Download the mod from , and extract the .zip's content to a folder. Then, just open up BakkesMod.exe and it should install itself into your Rocket League installation.

If it doesn't say [Injected], then try to whitelist it in your antivirus' settings.

Launch Rocket League, and press F2 (or FN+2), and a menu should open up. If you are having trouble, head over to the .
